At MCG we pride ourselves on turnaround times, as such you can select your preferred turnaround time at checkout. This can be as little as 1-2 days. Please note that all turnaround times are from when we receive the product with us once sent.

If you pick our card safe package, we'll send you a postal kit and prepaid label. This includes a sleeve for you card, as well as a magnetic acrylic box for your card and a padded envelope to ensure your card reaches us in perfect condition.

We only use couriers that we'd feel comfortable with. We mostly use Royal Mail for our deliveries not only for speed and security but also for your freedom, so you can either drop your card off at a post office or arrange a collection.

When we receive your card it is handled with the upmost care and you'll be notified via email and your order status page that we've got it.

We handle all our cards very carefully and have minimal contact time, only ever whilst wearing gloves.

It will then be initially graded by one of our in house specialists, before being re-graded by our AI program. This method ensures that you can be fully confident in your cards grade. It's then carefully placed and sealed inside one of our protective acrylic slabs before being sent back to you.

You'll continue to be updated of when your card is being graded and when it's complete.

This also means you'll get instant access to the verification page once it's been graded.

Our cards are graded using stringent grading criteria and modern technology to ensure you get the right grade everytime.

How it works:

Initial Grading:

When we hand grade your card, we check four main criteria and assign each one a score from 0-10.

Criteria:

A score of 0-10 is given for, Corners, Edges, Centering and Surface.

This covers every issue that may effect a cards quality and condition.

Overall Score:

Your cards overall score is calculated based off of the combined score for each area that is graded. To ensure the upmost credibility and integrity we only round down, ensuring cards that achieve an overall grade of 10 are always a 10. We don't use .5 scores as they are not always accurate and rarely add more value to the card.

AI Grading Score:

Included in all card gradings is a second grading score provided by an Artificial Intelligence platform. We use an advanced AI algorithm to grade the cards exactly as we do, focusing on corners, edges, centering and surface.

We do this because AI can assess and analyse cards at a much greater level than Humans can and it ensures all our scores are accurate, eliminating any potential human error.
